Reaching the world from home

SOON Ministries has played a key role in worldwide evangelism for over 50 years. SOON Ministries is a ministry of WEC International which has produced millions of good news papers for Africa and Asia, and organised thousands of volunteers around the UK to wrap and post batches of papers from their own homes or churches to nearly 100 countries across the world. These are thin, single-paged, magazine-style newspapers with articles, Bible stories and personal testimonies. Six million copies a year have been posted in easy English, French, Portuguese, Swahili and Fula/Pulaar.

This ministry now continues online, sharing the gospel through the testimonies of the readers.

Readers share this enthusiasm

“The testimonies draw many people to Christ. This is why I am asking you for sufficient quantity to distribute.” (Benin)

“When I was going home from school, at the school gate I saw a paper on the ground. I decided to pick it up. All the topics were interesting to me and I decided to write to SOON for more copies. I want to make up my mind to change from Muslim to Christian.” (Nigeria)

“Oh, I love reading SOON magazine, I started receiving SOON since 1998. I don’t even know who could be so kind to request a SOON magazine for me ... and the TESTIMONIES mmmhhh, I LOVE IT!” (Mawuli Albert, Ghana)
